Let's make something unique
Etheredge Engraving specializes in bringing your ideas to life. We are equipped to design, create, and personalize many different kinds of gifts, signs, awards, and more.
Below we describe the flow of an engraving project, and some examples of projects we do regularly.
Laser Engraving Vs. Laser Cutting

Laser Engraving
Laser Engraving is a high speed / low power process where light is focused through a lens and directed at the material. Heat from the light burns, melts, or vaporizes material without cutting through. The result is a visually attractive mark from the contrasting color of the burned material.

Laser Cutting
Laser Cutting is a low speed / high power process similar to Laser Engraving, except with the intention of burning all the way through the material. Laser cut surfaces are generally smooth, with excellent surface finish that does not require a secondary finishing process.

Materials and Capabilities

Reclaimed Barrel Heads and General Signs
A favorite specialty of ours is using reclaimed bourbon barrel heads for engraving as signs, wedding guest signature boards, and more. We have a full woodshop capable of custom shapes, sizes, and finishes.

Drinkware, Glass, and Tumblers
We use rotary tools to engrave your ideas on stainless steel / powder coated tumblers, and glassware like pints, shots, and bottles.

Acrylics, Plywoods, and Hardwoods
We can create layered signs, custom artwork, and more from thin plywoods, hardwoods, and acrylic plastics.

...And So Much More!
Our abilities are only limited by our imagination. The list of materials we can engrave is quite extensive, and we're always adding new techniques to our skillset.
